Ok I would like to start.. This is a mod, not a game offered by LucasArts.
To start you need Homeworld 2. How you get it, I'm not interested in. But you need version 1.1 to get this mod to download correctly. After doing that simply go and download the mod. There's 2 currently available, one for the Expanded universe after Return of the Jedi, and another for the Clone Wars.

Why am I saying this?
This game kicks, fucking, ass. It blows me away almost every time I play it just how much work these guys have put into a mod. The download for the expanded universe is about 200 megs or so last I checked so this mod is pretty comprehensive. And if you've ever enjoyed nerding out with star wars ships like I do, you have to get this game.
If I have one complaint though its that it requires a massively powerful video card to play properly and a gobful of RAM. There's just that much going on in the game.
