Ok, well my shoes are already dirty from walking around too much dry.gif Anyone have any good tips/ideas on how to clean suede? I've heard vinegar is good, the old water and soap ruins them and that rubbing them with sandpaper works. But i'd like to know if any of you guys would know anything huh.gif

EDIT: The cheapest place i could get them cleaned was for $35 and that would take 3 weeks thumbs_down.gif

cleaning suede sucks! i made a slight mess on our suede couch, i used a lot of water. It took a while, but it eventually came out.

Haven't you ever seen that Seinfeld episode where Jerry has to wear his seude jacket in the snow? Just throw it away or give it to your eccentric neighbour.

get suede cleaning from Finish Line shoes or somthing... it'll be like 8 or 9 dollars and it works well.

Go to foot locker and you can buy suede cleaner for like 10 bucks. It smells like paint though. They give it out for free with each pair of suede shoes (or suede knock off).

Suede gets ruined when it gets wet, and ANY waterproofing agent coats the suede making a barrier between the water and the suede and any subsequent stain. Idiot.... thats not suede, maybe not nubuck, most likely fake. laugh.gif
