I'm in saskatoon for a Chemistry conference, and I am completely blown away by the bad driving here. I have seen, in the 24 hours I have been here, 3 almost accidents andmany many dangerous lane changes and other manuvers(one semi crossed 3 lanes in heavy traffic to get on to an exit). not to mention the complete lack of knowledge of the "slow traffic keep right rule"
the 2 ultamate prize winners thus far have been, in reverse order
the old man who almost caused a multi car pile up and then got out of his car to appologise to everyone in line behind him
the 2 girls driving an echo while watching a portable DVD player on the freeway (100+km/h)

lol there are tons of bad drivers here but no one as bad as some of the people that you posted
once, i was on an exit ramp off of RT22W (nj) and the ramp was into a residential/shopping mall kind of area. im doing 45ish and coasting down to road speeds and some idiot pulls right infront of me out of the shopping mall after he second-geussed himself and decided he could make it(he inched out before then i mildly honked at him). some black guy (not to bias, but he was black) in an pos echo who pulled into a cigarette/liquor shop (once again not to bias, but he did go into there) like 1/4 mile down the road

it forms when rapidly rising currents of ionised atmosphere rise between the points of transfer of extremely high energy levels typically in D'Arsonval fashion. Very hot and often vocal can be seen 400+ miles at sea and heard as well.
even at short distance off beat streamers will oscillate ferrociously and these harmonics are the source of the fantastic display

we dont have one of those, but we do have a mass spec magnet which can pull nickles out of your pockets. when we are bored we throw cange at it...if you get it just right the coin will be suspended between the 2 fielsd of the magnet and will hover there.
thats about the only "COOL" insturment we have.
There is an electon scaning tunneling microscope somewhere upstairs in biology, but we cant afford to hire the tech needed to keep it operatonal...
