Ok , simple question . How often do you guys wear you seatbelt . Personally , I feel strange without it .

I wear it all the time. I actually find it to be comfortable.

i wear seat belts before even starting the car ... its become my routine now

P.S. The beeping sound really really irritates me so i wear it to shut it up

The only time I dont wear mine is when I'm workng in the winter. I drive like half a block and stop to get out like every 5 minutes for 2 hours so it'd just be a pain since i'm in the suburbs only.

seatbelts are proven to greatly increase your chances of survival in serious accidents, and decrease your chances of injury in any accident. you'd have to be a complete moron to not wear your seatbelt.

my dad once gave CPR to a woman who was thrown out of her drop top Mustang on the free way when they hit another car going over 75 mph. she died in his arms, he still has the bloody clothes he was wearing... i ALWAYS wear my seatbelt.

I always wear my seatbelt. As mentioned, it feels weird without it. I remember when I was a kid though before the seatbelt law was passed, I never wore it. Luckily i was never in an accident.

Also while driving, the seatbelt does help hold me in place. My MR2 like, detects me driving fast and pulls the seatbelt tight on me lol

Also a seatbelt saved my face when we were read ended by a drunk driver once and then hit the car in front of us. My face would of been planted in the back of the seat in front of me if I didnt have a seatbelt on.

if someone died in your arms, i think it would be a large mental shock, theres probably something like that, that made him keep the clothes.

btw, I, like everyone else, feels naked without the seatbelt.

I made this poll because I was talking to some guy at school who said that he doesn't wear his seatbelt because he's a good driver and he doesn't need it . He later on said that seatbelts are for "women and pussies" . At that moment , I was like , Fuck it , and I just left .

In my 23 years on the fire department and responding to traffic collisions, I have yet to unbuckle a dead person from their seatbelts. I have, however seen my share of dead drivers and passengers who were not seatbelted in.

Everyday, I too feel pretty weird without one and it's sure as hell not safe. Especially in my S4.

I never drive without the seatbelt on, not even when I'm driving my car for only a few metres... because sometimes a few metres and a second of distraction or inattention is enough. With that I mean driving the car into the next street or something, not driving it out of the garage or something.

mine, too.. sometimes if im distracted i will messup the correct order (belt -> ignition -> e brake -> shift) but i never move the car without it on.. it feels wierd when i adjust my posture and its not clinging to me.

one time while I was parking without the belt,
(because I had to get the ticket out of the machine)

I stepped on the brakes a bit too hard and I almost hit the wheel with my face, it was so whack, this would have not normally happened if I had my seat belt on, this is how used to it I am

It actually feels wierd not having one, to some extent. I feel so open without one, like driving a UPS truck with no doors

it's true, it's like the bucket seats lose the grip or somthing

and a big thing too, is that when you aren't snug in the seat you can't really feel what the car is doing, which isn't too fun
