If you can find a turbo MR2 that cheap - go for it !
A very rare and very desirable sports car.

An MR-2 turbo is a deathtrap for inexperienced drivers. With the suspension geometry and everything they'll spin around before you even blink. I would have to suggest the supra.

Dakian- the earlier MR2 Turbos are known for their "snap oversteer" characteristics, but I believe model year 92 introduced revised suspension geometry which all but eliminated this trait (except on wet pavement, of course...)

They didnt elminate it completely. They helped but they're still dangerous for someone who isnt used to the back end snapping around.

Corrado!!!! An absolutely stunning car to look at, and with that 190 Hp 2.9 liter VR6, they're damn fast too...mmm and that VR6 exhaust sound *drool*

Also, according to Top Gear, soon to be a collector's item

I'm confused by the appearence of the Eagle Talon on the list. It doesn't seem to fit in with the other cars.

MR2 Turbo!!! Very quick mod friendly cars!!!
(Of course a 5.0 would be a lot faster), but I think the MR2 is a better "all around" car.

a talon is up there becuase it is a very easily modded car that is cheap
i prefer the corrado and toyotas over it of course, but i just want to hear stuff from people who have used or know about all of them

eclipse GSX= 2.0L turbo 4G63 and AWD= 0-60 6.4s.
That's why it's up there.

Corrado with the VR6. Don't get a G60 because they tent too have problems and the VR6 is faster...

the G60 is horribly unreliable. Anyone who buys a G60 Corrado=t3h fail IMO.
I agree with you; a VR6 Corrado would be rawesome.

I would go for the supra.
It is before the remodeling that was done in 1993.5 therefore the price is a bit cheaper than the newer 1993.5+ mkiv. Toyotas are very reliable cars too.
Mr b00st
Dec 14 2003, 05:12 PM
oh... but then again, MKIII supras suck ass. Get an MR2 Turbo; it's faster and better looking. And it has teh engine in the right place.
...like I said, no supra under 7k is a supra worth owning.

5.0
5-speed 5.0's are really fun to drive... i've had 2 5-speeds and an auto, and they're soooo much fun.

either the supra, 5.0(i like the latest fox bodies, 93 was the last year of them i believe) or corrado, if you can actually find a nice supra for 7k go for it, otherwise pick from the latter two
