I won the Fairlady Z concept LM car a while back and have been driving it a while. So the other day i decide i want some extra cash so i do the races that i originaly won it on for the cash and so i could sell it at the end for a new one. Anyway when i came to sell the old one i realised it had more power than the new. I have not modified it so the only other explanation i can think of is that after a few hundred miles the engine gets worn in. Can anyone shed some light?

Sounds like what happens in GT3 as well. After you break it in it starts to gain a few HP.

They have a re-stiffening option so why not an engine re-build option for about 50k creds?

Win the Nürburgring 24 hour race.

It does happen in GT3 as well. I had a SVT Cobra, which handles like shit, mind you, and I had around 643 HP, then after a few races it had 650... Strange, indeed.

wait, i have a question about the 'ring 24hrs....when i did the 4hrs on the 'ring and i put it on x3 speed but when it got to the pits, it resetted back to realtime and i had to change it back to x3..does this same thing happen to the 24hr 'ring race?

I mean, they wouldn't change the way the pit stops were done just because it's a 24 hour race.

Do you have to make it pit yourself? So i can't just begin the race and then go to school and let it run it self?

You can let it go, don't worry.
