I've been using multiple hair styling products now, none have been able to obtain my messy hair effect. I've been through at least 10 different products, i've used all my friends and even asked my patients for advice It's down to you guys, can anyone suggest a good hair styling product that can help obtain a good messy effect without making my hair rock hard or flimzy as cheesestring? I've been using this for about 3 days, works alright.

I use american crew too; it holds well, although it kinda fades away over the course of the day moreso than other brands. I don't really care, though.

i was going to suggest just that bran dylan. also the pomade is to die for, but if you dont like the greasy feeling stay away from pommade.

Wow. I actually don't use any hair products. Just shampoo and that's about it. I just comb my hair back. Does that make me more a man than you ladies and your little "spa" products? Oh? What's that? You'd tell me to stfu but now you have to go and wash out your pussies?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I used this stuff once when I was trying that messy look, it came in a glue bottle, and I swear it was not glue. It was sticky though, and I liked it. It was a white bottle with red writing.

No, you just have hair that doesn't do crazy ass things when you don't gel it. Mine devolves into weird tufts when my hair is short, and just gets all foofy when it's long, hence why I use gel.

I've got really curly and wavey hair. I once bought gel a long time ago and tried to gel it but everything just looked stupid and I looked like some faggot gino kid.

Yeah, curly hair and gel don't mix. My hair's straight...like, REALLY straight. There isn't even the vaguest hint of curliness to my hair.

i used mouse for a lil while when my hair was longer ... but now i dont even bother to comb.

Water sucks, unless you have really thick hair it does nothing but dries up and leaves your hair floppy.
