Well I came home Thursday night for spring break and about a month ago I set up plans with my friends to go to Englishtown Raceway for yesterday. And damn was it fun. Every wed/fri night Englishtown has time trials for $20. For that 20 I was able to get seven runs in. I would run, get my slip and get right back on line. I was getting a run in every 20 minutes. So anyway what I'm sure you're all waiting for is my times so here was my best:
r/t: .644
60': 2.336
1/4: 15.826
mph: 85.10
That was my last run which turned out to be my best. My 60ft was what was killing me. Being that it was my first time I was at the track I couldn't get my launching. Finally though on my last run I figured out how to get it. Of course it still wasn't a good 60ft, but it was an improvement on all of my others. With maybe another 2 runs I could have probably gotten it down to 2.1. I figure I should be able to get the car down to a 15.5 with more practice.
My friend with a gsr hatch ran his best time last night with a 14.4 and 2.1 60ft. He had a trap of 96. Previously his best was back in Oct with a 14.8. Another friend just picked up a Mazdaspeed Protege last week and he ran his too. His best of 3 runs was a 16.0, but again he's only had the car for a week and it was his first time at the track too.
I didn't get to see any other cars run since I just kept getting back on line. But one run I was up against an srt-4 which ran a 13.5 with a 2.1 60ft. There was also an orange Evo there running in the 10s. We had 3 cameras running last night so I'll be able to see what everyone else was doing when I watch them.

99 Integra LS. For what it is, it's a decent time, especially if I can get it down to that 15.5.

Looks like there's a lot of time to be made up in your r/t. I've seen those as low as sub-0.2.

Reaction time doesn't affect e.t...

You're right...that's me not thinking. I always forget that.
But his r/t can still be improved

I had a r/t of .1 something one run, but I didn't care about my r/t, it wasn't like I was competeing with anyone or anything. The only time I cared was when I raced one of my friends and that's when I pulled the .1. But yea if it did effect my e/t I'd def be trying to improve that.

Oh, damn. I thought it was a circuit track and I was thinking 20 dollars and seven runs in at a road course?!
But, anyway... I wanna see them vids!

I watched the vids today. Once I go back to school I'll get them on my comp and upload them to my vid. The fuckers didn't tape my best run

But there was some fast cars there. A turbo type-r ran 11.8, a 350z got kicked out because on its 4th run it ran an 11.7 and track rules say if you run 11's you need a roll cage which he was lacking. There was a buick or some gm, running 9's. Definatly some fast cars there. Looks like we're going again wed nite. Figure that's a week night I hope there's less car's than last night so I can get even more than seven runs in.
