We obviously know what the credits are used for but what about "A-spec points?"

What can you use the A-spec points for?

Not mentioned anywhere in the manual...

Nothing I believe. They're just a representitive of how hard of races you've done AFAIK.

the more difficult the race, the more a spec points you get from that race.

so for example if the AI is using ~200hp cars and you're using a ~100hp car, the A-spec point should be max (200) for that race and you'll have a lot of trouble winning it.

it's basically to show off that you can win with slower cars

by the way, if for once race you used a 500hp car and only got 1 A-spec point.. the next time you race it with a say 200hp car, you'll get more A-spec points (the old ones will go away).

YOu unlock tracks and whatnot with A-spec points.

no, that is only by days. A-spec points, and we've already been over this in other threads, are only a personal milestone of difficulty. the more you have compared to the # of races, the slimmer the margain of victory was due to less mechanical advantage.

so at the end of the game ppl will be saying they are the best racers ever because they have massive amounts of spec points.

A-spec points basically r used to brag to ur friends.

someone told me 2000 a-spec points unlocks a paintshop. i was pretty mad when i found out that wasn't true, as i did those stupid driving missions for nothing

My friend used to brag all the time about the a-spec points. I never really got what they were for.

well, i would say u did it for nothing, they are part of the game and they need to be done anyway, so its good u got em out of the way atleast
