So I just completed the original Halo. It sucked. HATED it. It seemed like every room looked the same with the same stupid critters. Yes there were exceptions but for the most part it was very repetitive.

Is the Halo 2 single player any different?

Well the weapon selection is more unique, story is more lacking, level development is less. But you can steal tanks, planes, and jeeps. I don't know I really enjoyed Halo 2, especially when I beat it on uber hard with my brother.

Yeah, that's great but I'm not going to plunk down $50 on a game to hear a bunch of 12 year olds whine about me handing out beatings like Santa does gifts.

I don't own it I have just played it a lot because my roomie owns a x-box as most my friends.

From what I hear the Halo2 single player is short. I hear reports of 2-3 days of good play and your done of course I could be totally wrong. How is the single player in the original Halo in terms of time completion?

lets put it this way.
I was uber hyped when I heard that Halo 2 was coming out.
I finally got Halo 2
Got pissed...
sold my Xbox

Then recently at a friends house I discovered Halo 2's multiplayer
Now I kinda miss my Xbox.

The general consensus around here is that Halo was great. It was a fantastic game and the multiplayer was awesome.

When Halo 2 Came out, everybody loved the Campaign, and I thought it was brilliant, but when you go to multiplayer, it can't match up, really, it is a completely different game.

From now on whenever anyone wants to play, we ALWAYS reach for Halo 1.

Yeah, both Halos definitley aren't that great. At all. The only remotley fun part is where you try to see how far you can launch the warthog using only grenades.
