well the only way you could do that is if you enter it with sports tyres, go into setting before the race and change your sports tyres to racing...but i dont know if that works, i never tried it.

My mistake... yup, they were sports tires...in my defence though, I stayed up until 05:00 to finish the race.. my memory of the whole experience is a bit fuzzy.

I haven't either. I just B-spec'd a stock SLR McLaren on sport hards and it smoked the field @ El Capitan.

b-spec is shitting me at the moment, on the lemans track, im doin the 24 hour, and when they are goin down that really really long back straight, the car just jerks to the side and hits the wall, stops for like 3 seconds and decides to keep racing....stupid b-spec....

Damn it, yeah I got that problem from the second time I tryed it onwards. The first time I did I had to quit two hours in which was alright, but for the first time it didn't do the 'wall trap' thing once! How fucking annoying!

Hi guys! Just found your thread re GT4 F1 Cars in google so I decided to join.

I'm currently at less than 200 days and have around 1M Cr. I try to race the German cup every night after office work so I can win around 800K Cr each night 'til the 694th day!!! hahaha

Ok, guys small question. I have saved file on my USB stick which is a 100% saved game for GT4. Is it poossible for me to transfer it to my memory card and use it on GT4?

And for the question, i don't know, but try and start your PS2 without a game and go to Data Transfer. Don't know if you can see the datas on the memory stick, though.

my GT4 update: 240+ days with 2.8M Cr, another AMG Benz CLK car (700+K Cr.) to sell in the garage and now racing the fourth race in German Cup for another AMG CLK! hahahah (Just won the Japanse GT last night and 2 championship German Cup for 2 CLK)

at this rate I can easily get the 4 black cars by 694-700 days! YAHOO!!!

tips from internet GT4 walkthroughs which works fine for me:
- In German Touring Cup, use Mercedez-Benz CLK Touring Car with these settings: R3 front, R1 rear tires, 80mm front and rear, +4 front toe angle in suspension tune, and, #9 auto transmission!
- Take B-specs races, let your car overtake the others with "Push" pace. Once in 1st place, just leave it at "Steady" pace. The races will take 8+mins., 7+mins, 6+ mins, 10+mins, & 7+mins respectively. (This way you can just enter the race, overtake, and leave it to do anything... chores, study, eat, watch TV, etc. )
- You only need to win at least 4 of 5 races... I suggest to skip the long one, 4th race.
- You will win 15K in each race, 75K as champ, and sell the AMG for 740+K Credit!!! ... you do the math and its around 850+K alreadY!!!!!

I just found another way to earn alotta money in easily. Some probably know it already, but its the SECA Race Way 300 Miles (endurance hall). If you win, you'll get the Ford GT40 LM car (the old one) and 250,000 credits (i think). The Ford is ~730,000 credits worth. And the race is easy with a LM car (i.e. Minolta 88-C) and should take no longer then 1½ hour.

It's not that fast though! even with maximum upgrade!!!

The MINOLTA Toyota I used in GT world champs is much faster (1223HP) than that Polyphony GT!?!?! It looks cool though!

Now my next targets are the BLACK cars!!!... I have 10+Million Cr.... at 450 days... how can i speed up the days!?!?

also the polyphony F1 car!... though, like I said in the other thread, I have the NA version of GT4 so I have to finish the 24hour Nurburgring endurance to get it... or finish 100%!!! that really sucks!!!

go into a track in gt mode, not a race, just the free run, when u get into it, get out of it, and go back into it, then get out of it, do that for a hour, youll waste atleast 100 days.

I think entering the License Hall, or whatever, and then back takes a day or two.

When did you guys start saving up? I'm at day 460 with 2.2 million credits, and in about 10 mins i got 2.9 million.

I still want to know how to win La Sarthe II 24 hours.... Still can't do it with any car, Audi R8, BMW V12 LMR, Formula Polyphony, Mazda 787B and they all screw up and hit the wall on the straight...

I started saving-up while I'm still at 100+ days.... eversince I had won the Mercedez touring car, I played the German Cup 2 x per night!... that's around 1.6M+ Cr. every night! You may want to start doing that.... you still have time my friend!

you'll need a program (disc) that is able to read the memory stick and transfer it to a card. However, most of the discs are in conjunction with their own memory stick.

I have a Max Drive and have use it for rosters for NCAA and Madden. Basically you put the cd in and you can see all files and transfer, delete, copy, etc.

Yeah, every 1394 days exactly they end up back in the used car sales. Therefore 1394 * 2 = 2788?

Actually Paulie, on further investigation I'm wrong! The cars appear every 694 days and are there for 7 days, so they are available on days 694-701, 1388-1394, 2082-2089 and then 2781-2788 etc etc. So not quite such a long wait after all! Sorry for the mix up.

no....it's not that LMP....well....i bought all 6 anyways....

the clio is surely one of the special black because you don't see much european cars in the used car slots and suddenly you see one black between day 694-700.......well..i guess it can be considered as one of the special black.....

and the S2000....well....most ppl don't consider it as a special black because it isn't "special" enough......but why ppl are talking about day 694 to 700?....6 days 6 cars...doesn't sound too stupid either.......

so you can get that s2000 (the one in the pic ^) in black during that time period??

I had one of those black TMEs on my original GT4 game (before I lost the data). It's also available in white, silver, red or dark blue, and it's a great car! I sold it when I bought a 22B though
