Referring to the Porsche pic: why do people with expensive cars park in the driveway when they can park it in their garage?
Methinks it's the "I have to show off my fancy car by not parking it in the garage" syndrome.
Just plain dumb to do this if you have the option of parking indoors.

Perhaps in this instance. But I do notice this sort of thing quite often.. especially in upscale neighbourhoods .. where one neighbour tries to upstage his or her fellow neighbours.

Yeah, there's a house that I drive by often with an M Roadster parked out front all the time. He's got an open bay in the garage most of the time, too.
