Well, I celebrated my birthday early since I'm home for the week, and my sisters birthday was the 11th of this month, so we decided to celebrate together while we're home. So I got a few DVDs, some CDs, and I finally got a new iPod. I got an iPod photo 60GB which is great for me, finally enough room to hold all my music and pictures, and I don't have to deal with the messed up audio jack on my 2G iPod which is only 10GB. Been using it a bit, and love everything about it, and the thing I like most is the higher resolution, just because so much more fits on the screen now which helps a lot when browsing bands and what not..

Damn that's a nice screen.

I can even get the mac haters to admit that apple did the iPod right.

Well I really wanted this one, so I used the 200 bucks I got from my grandma to help pay for half. I think they got this one for about 530 bucks USD...which is actually really good, considering the Apple site sells them for 600 bucks.

I just can't wait to get back to my place, so I can slap all my music on there, although I've got enough on there to last me until I do fly back...

Yeah I had a 10GB one, which I guess would be a 2G since it had the touch instead of scroll wheel. I would've kept it longer, but the audio jack was just about completely shot. Another week or two and I'm sure it wouldn't work anymore. I've had a few people offer to buy it from me, but I've decided just to give it to my sisters boyfriend, and then the money he would've paid me with he can spend getting that audio jack fixed...

And it looks like in a few months just about all iPods will have color screens, it's already rumored that the new iPod minis (which are being shown in a few weeks I think?) will have a color screen as well...

Well they finally came out with device to connect to your iPod photo so you can download pictures from your camera. Once I get the money I'll definitely be getting one. I'm glad they've come out with something like this, and for those of you with an iPod photo, they've released the 1.1 software yesterday. Except I think it's ugly and I need 60GB not 40 or 20...it's too small for my needs. And who wants to watch a video on some 2 inch screen anyways? And I've had an some iPod for a good 2-3 years now and haven't had many problems, and all I want to do is play music, and maybe hold some pictures on it when I go on vacations.

Like Dakain has said, I've already bought it. All what I want is something to play music. The video thing I find a waste because I would rarely use it for videos. I use my iPod when I go to the gym, go biking, and other things like that where I can't sit around watching a movie on it. And I'm sure the video jukebox is bigger than an iPod and I'm looking for something small-ish here. I even find the iPod to be a bit big at times..

I think I'll buy an ipod this week. Just feel like buying one all of a sudden.
