Full Version: Driving Light Trouble

I have PIAA 980 fog/driving lights on my car. Tonight I found out that the passenger side driving light is out again. This is the third bulb that I have had in there. I was wondering if any of you guys had an idea what the problem could be. It is just the one light on the one side. PIAA bulbs are kinda pricy so I would rather not have to buy a new bulb every few months. I plan on taking it to the place that installed them as soon as I have time. Any experiences/advice would be appreciated.

Is there water getting inside the housing?

hmm... I'll have to check it out in the daylight.

That would explain my observations this morning.

no it wouldn't.
You experienced my fog light reflecting off the road, that would have nothing to do with water being in the driving light(which has a completely different housing). btw the fog lights are made to spead the light beam at a wider angle:

Dakian: at least I got nice "ricer lights" ($400 with installation)... Wait a second. How can you talk about my car's lights? Have you seen the back of your car? tongue_crossed-eyes.gif

Yes it has the stock lights in it. And?

I like how A32 brings out colourful charts and diagrams to try to prove me wrong.
