- Nissan Maxima 2009Apr 27th, 2008 0:16"Liquid Motion"? With sharp edges? As Korean improves (slightly), why does Nissan's become stranger? The Infinity range is already experimenting too much with individuality. Good thing that the current Sentra and Altima are pleasing to the eye, because they might not be in 4 yrs time!
- RA Concept from MitsubishiMar 18th, 2008 0:52This is the design we all used to make in class while the teacher was talking. So why can't Mitsubishi just kill the current Eclipse and sell this one in 2008?
- Audi Q7 CoastlineMar 18th, 2008 0:46Tall cars don't go well with side skirts, unless you're trying to look like a Mack truck. Which is strange coz the yacht floor is so Bentley. I'm an Audi fan, but this is swaying too much into AMG territory...
- Audi R8 TDI Le MansMar 18th, 2008 0:35So, the next big thing in cars is not design... but fuels! Let's see... lightweight frame, topspeed over 300km/h, 1000Nm of torque, 85Hp/liter, 4.2sec 0-100, 1750rpm redline, low-emissions diesel engine, and Audi pedigree!
- Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder (2009)Mar 1st, 2008 22:17Quite a lot of guys & gals in my campus drive this... and even the ugly previous model with the ribbed sides (a la Pontiac Grand Am). That means Mitsu actually has a good reputation in the US; but use it or lose it! BTW every time a Mitsu 3000 GT goes by, heads still turn.
- Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (2009)Mar 1st, 2008 22:04The facelift has certainly give the Eclipse that current Mitsu identity, eventhough its headlights are backswept as opposed to the Lancer's forward-charging front lights. BTW this Eclipse is still an average design compared to the classic Mitsubishi 3000 GT...
- Official Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X production picturesJan 31st, 2008 11:41Mitsu design is becoming non-descript since the current Galant & ugly Endeavor, so I'm glad this new Lancer is just a safe route. The angry "face" is better than the sissy Subaru WRX, the EVO's natural rival. The new Lancer 's proportions remind me of the 80s 4-door sedan Lancer/Colt/Mirage...
- Hyundai Genesis Sedan PicturesJan 31st, 2008 11:34Compared to the Hyundai Veracruz SUV, this is a good effort. Since all cars copy each other anyway (the new Chevy Malibu is a VW Phaeton), this is a rather good design effort in the lines of the Nissan Altima. Quality and Depreciation? Not a Hyundai strongpoint...
- Maserati Quattroporte Collezione CentoJan 31st, 2008 11:26The Quattrport is the original "4-door coupe" that always makes the Mercedes CLS look like a pretender. But this version (with its couch-like interior and color scheme) makes it look like "Grandpa's Maserati". (Or was that the whole idea?)
- Land Rover LRX Hybrid Concept Car ImagesJan 24th, 2008 20:54The LRX has a sleek interpretation of the Range Rover front end. Non Land Rover fans probably love the wedge shape, but Range Rover regulars will be disappointed by the tight overhead space. Range Rovers are what they are becuase of the commanding view that the driver enjoys over uneven terrain, which is also a benefit when the car (and side windows) are swaying left and right and banging against occupants' heads. But for marketing purposes, it's a genius!
- Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro PicturesJan 6th, 2008 22:17"Young Progressive Art" Audi says? All I see is that these cars: 1. Audi Metroproject Quattro 2. Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro 3. Audi A3 Cabriolet basically come from the same chassis or even bodyparts! The unknowing public will swear they come from the same platform. If they don't then Audi may be betting too much on this "safe" design to counter the "bold" curvy new lines of the A5/S5. What happened to Audi one-offs like the TT and R8?
- 580hp Audi RS6 Avant for 2008. Whoa!Dec 30th, 2007 13:19It took Audi 25 years to realize that the "flared wheel arches" are are very much a part of Audi design tradition. Here it is proven to be compatible with Audi's new (post-2006) designs. Keep it for all new RS Audis!
- Subaru Forester 2009 WallpapersDec 30th, 2007 13:11This makes much more sense than the Subaru Tribeca, which is great for a design study but not many people will want to buy it. I think the Mazda CX SUVs have done a better job of combining avantgarde styling and real world needs.
it looks too long...its too much like the m6
