Volkswagen unleashed a MONSTER upon the world today at the Wörthersee 2007 show. This GTI produces 650hp and 530 lb/ft of torque and does 201mph. 0-60 is an incredible 3.7 seonds. VW managed to squeeze in the W12 engine from the Phaeton behind the driver's seats. Yes, this is a mid engined GTI. About the only thing they kept stock are the headlights and the hood. Don't expect to see this at the dealer showroom anytime soon however as it's simply a one off custom made specifically for the show. Video and wallpapers after the jump.
