Volkswagen Golf GTI W12 650

Volkswagen unleashed a MONSTER upon the world today at the Wörthersee 2007 show. This GTI produces 650hp and 530 lb/ft of torque and does 201mph. 0-60 is an incredible 3.7 seonds. VW managed to squeeze in the W12 engine from the Phaeton behind the driver's seats. Yes, this is a mid engined GTI. About the only thing they kept stock are the headlights and the hood. Don't expect to see this at the dealer showroom anytime soon however as it's simply a one off custom made specifically for the show. Video and wallpapers after the jump.

Well, if they did that.. They did a bad job at it! Check the backgrounds of the first two pics, they are exactly the same. Idem for the two underneath. ;)

its called photoshop ;) they arent fake, they just enhanced the colors and etc. in photoshop.

Those pictures are fakes and I guess it's a non-driving prototype.. But it's a sweet thought ;)

This makes it an MR, right? In other words, perfect. I've always thought it's a pity they only offer the Golf as FWD, no AWD or MR like the Renault Clio.

GeoBemm007, are you serious? they're real pictures with real backgrounds. The two that you say are identical is because they are in the same spot just facing different directions. O.o What grade are you in?
