Toyota Highlander 2014 Review

Toyota has announced the 2014 Highlander with new exterior design and refined interior with advanced technologies. The all-new fuel-efficient 2014 Toyota Highlander will be priced from $29,215 and will arrive in the United States in February.

The all-new mid-size three-row SUV brings together the best in style, technology, comfort, capability, and safety. The entry-level model comes sparsely equipped but features an eight seat interior, a backup camera, an Entune audio system and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The LE Plus comes with standard fog lights, eight-way power driver seat with lumbar support, Entune Audio Plus with XM & HD radio, three-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Like the LE, the LE Plus is mono-spec.

The XLE grade comes with leather-trimmed seats with heated front seats, Chromtec roof rails and a tilt-slide moonroof, Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and an App Suite with an eight-inch touch screen display.

The Limited grade boasts perforated leather seats, heated / cooled front seats and a variety of safety systems. The model also has LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels.

All models have options to select, which include a heated steering wheel, second row captain chairs, ambient interior lighting and a Blu-ray entertainment system. It can also be equipped with automatic high beam headlights, a dynamic radar cruise control system and a Smart Key system.

The new Highlander is available in three engines. The 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces 270 bhp (201 kW) and 248 lb-ft (335 Nm) of torque. The 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine producing 185 bhp (138 kW) and a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 engine with a combined maximum output of 280 bhp (209 kW).
