Hyundai Santa Fe 2012 Review

Hyundai has very well came up with their all new redefined looks, safety and commendably capsulated features in this new release, Santa Fe 2012. With this new model Team Hyundai offers its buyers two engine variants; 2.4 Liter DOHC Theta II inline four Cylinder engine and 3.5 Liter DOHC Lambda II V6 engine. Both these variants impeccably deliver power, save fuel and the scale of dependability says ‘have a joyous ride’.

There are more features in Hyundai Santa Fe 2012, like the Standard Downhill Brake Control giving the rider better control over the inclined surfaces, hence making the ride safe. But we have these segments to be talked upon in a descriptive way in the article following, so let us take a step ahead and get ourselves to know Hyundai Santa Fe 2012 better.

INTERIOR

A family crossover that’s what we mentioned a little earlier in this article in context to Santa Fe. Upon listening this first thing comes is space. Inspite of being 3.7 inches shorter than the Chevrolet Equinox, the storage space offered in Santa Fe is more than Equinox. The credit for this goes to the Hyundai engineers for engineering the rules in a way that the style and space both remain with the buyers.

Moving ahead you can find leather shift knob and blue backlight for interior gauges, switches and buttons. THe blue backlight commendably adds glory to the looks and hence keeps the dual charm of loud and serene. Talking more in interior our eyes were grabbed by the color-keyed seat belt buckles, the high quality materials gives soft touch to the interior further making arena a serene place to sit in, relax and travel around. Hyundai Santa Fe is also equipped with three brilliant audio systems with standard XM satellite radio and auxiliary inputs.

EXTERIOR

The design of Hyundai Santa Fe is purposefully engineered to give you a wonderful driving experience through better handling and balance that a crossover buyer would look for. Its stiff body structure, suspension geometry and wide track width enables greater turn angles. This indeed becomes an advantage for the driver while daily parking and driving experience. Santa Fe 2012 offers a reverse L-Shaped lower control arm which provides superior steering feel with improved dynamic control. At the rear of Hyundai Santa Fe 2012 the trailing arms, located on the rear cross-member also helps to reduce road noise. In the exterior is designed keeping majorly in mind the improvement in performance and driving experience.

PERFORMANCE

The Hyundai Santa Fe comes in three trim levels; GLS, Sport SE and Luxurious Limited. Each of these adds another level of comfort and performance. The models hood beneath powerful engines, precisely;

  • Santa Fe GLS comes with 2.4 Liter inline four-cylinder producing 175 hp mated to six speed SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission.
