The BMW i8 Concept has very impressive performance and fuel economy figures. The i8 Concept accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under five seconds and has fuel consumption of under three litres per 100 kilometres (approx. 94 mpg). The BMW i8 Concept can travel up to 35 kilometres (approx. 20 miles) on electric power alone with its large lithium-ion battery.
